Tartu Science Park is a platform where start-up companies are nurtured into global businesses. Tartu Science Park is the first science park in the Baltics, founded in 1992 by Tartu city, county and two universities. For more than 27 years, we have supported business innovation activities in the region by offering rental space and infrastructure, business support and incubation services. We are the Home of Business.
In Tartu Science Park, you will have access to business development units such as S2B Launchpad, ESA BIC Estonia, Buildit Accelerator and an extensive network of mentors, investors and other startup-minded people. To foreign companies, we offer our help in extending business to Estonia where the economic environment is characterized by a qualified workforce, favourable tax system and liberal markets.
Tartu Regional Energy Agency (TREA) has been established in 2009 by Tartu City Government and Tartu Science Park to implement efficient energy management methodologies and practices in Tartu region. TREA is providing an independent energy advocacy for the region from citizens to SME-s, from households level to regional level.
ESA BIC Estonia is part of the Europe-wide ESA BIC network, offering access to ESA expertise, knowledge and data, laboratory and testing facilities of the participating universities and hands on business development support from the Incubation Centre teams. We aim to remain the most advanced digital society in the world and launch new startups in the field of European space technology.
Buildit is an accelerator that supports hardware and IoT startups in turning an idea into a tangible, market-worthy product.
Established in 2014 in Estonia, Buildit has already had 1500+ applications over its 9 batches. More than 70 startups have already been funded, with founders from 18 different countries of the world. The first exits are already starting to roll in.

There are more than 70 companies operating in Tartu Science Park. We offer our tenants a full package of office, laboratory, production space and several additional infrastructure, office or business services.
