During Slush week, deeptech founders, investors and ecosystem leaders will gather at the Embassy of Estonia in Helsinki. Sparkup Tartu Science Park is taking part in the Deep x Wild side event alongside its partners, and several teams from the first cohort of the DeepTech Accelerator will take the stage on the night.<\/strong><\/p>

Estonia\u2019s deeptech scene is gaining real momentum. Skeleton Technologies has become the country\u2019s first deep tech hardware unicorn, and a new generation of founders is turning breakthroughs in robotics, AI, defense and advanced materials into globally ambitious companies. But getting from the lab to scale takes more than great science. It takes the right people, commercial vision and the courage to think big.<\/p>

The evening opens with remarks from Janne J\u00f5esaar-Ruusalu<\/strong>, Ambassador of Estonia to Finland. A panel titled \u201cThe missing co-founder: Building deeptech teams from lab to scale\u201d will explore how to build teams that can take research to market, with speakers including Ahti Heinla<\/strong>, CEO of Starship Technologies.<\/p>

Sparkup Tartu Science Park<\/strong>, Tehnopol <\/strong>and Adapter <\/strong>will then introduce their work, followed by pitches from the DeepTech Accelerator\u2019s first cohort companies.The teams pitching from the DeepTech Accelerator\u2019s first cohort are Apsynora<\/strong>, DCR Technologies<\/strong>, HiveNavigator<\/strong>, \u00d6SEEN<\/strong> and Voltorque<\/strong>.
