Sparkup Tartu Science Park and the Blood Center of Tartu University Hospital invite community members to a blood donor day on Wednesday, 8 October, from 10 to 13 at the Sparkup Business Campus at Riia 181a.
You are a suitable donor if you:
- are 18–65 years old,
- weigh over 50 kg,
- are healthy, well-rested, and have eaten before donation.
If you have not donated blood before, read on the Blood Center’s website about who can donate and the conditions for donating blood.
Under the Blood Act, blood donors have the right to take time off work to donate blood.Bring your ID card/residence permit card.Come on your own, with friends, or with colleagues, and let’s do good together!
If you are unable to attend the donor day, you can donate blood at a time convenient for you at the University of Tartu Hospital’s Blood Center (L. Puusepa 8, Building B, 1st floor). Further information Blood Center’s website.
