NB! Regardless of the number of desks included in the contract, only one desk rental is free.

The coworking space is suitable for science- and technology-intensive small teams (up to 5 people), team members working remotely, or freelancers connected to the startup world.

Sparkup coworking space (in Est. ühiskontor) is Tartu Science Park’s shared office, suited for both freelancers connected to the startup world and smaller teams of up to five people.

We have two locations in Tartu: at the University of Tartu Delta business building in the city center and, now also, at the Sparkup business campus near Lõunakeskus in the Räni district.

All teams that join the deep tech and health tech incubator get access to one workstation in the coworking space, along with all the accompanying benefits.

The shared kitchen and lounge area, where we host everything from coffee mornings to movie nights, is the heart of our community. By renting a workstation at Sparkup coworking space, you’re at the center of the sTARTUp Tartu community — one conversation away from your next useful contact, and always the first to hear about upcoming events.

You can choose the length of your rental period to suit your needs, from one month to an open-ended contract. You can rent either a dedicated desk or a flexible hot desk, which lets you sit somewhere new every day if you like.

DELTA COWORKING SPACE LOCATION

Coworking space is located in the University of Tartu Delta business building, on the bank of the Emajõgi River.

Cars can be parked in nearby parking lots or on the streets (please take note of the parking conditions!).

There are several bike racks around the Delta building, easily found near almost every corner.

Buses heading towards the city center stop near the building, including routes number 4, 8, 21, and 25. Routes number 4, 7, 8, 21, and 25 serve buses leaving the city. The bus stop name in both directions is “Vene.”

RÄNI SCIENCE PARK COWORKING SPACE LOCATION

The Sparkup business campus consists of several buildings within the Tartu Science Park campus. Those arriving by car can park for free at the Tartu Science Park’s large car park, at Teaduspargi 3.

Those arriving by bike can leave their bicycle at the bike rack in front of the building at Teaduspargi 11.

Leaving the city, buses stop nearby on lines 1, 2, and 22; entering the city on lines 1, 2, and 21. The stop is called Teaduspark in both directions.

You can also use the free Lõunakeskus shuttle bus, which stops in front of Hotel Sophia.

The workstation includes a desk and chair, and with a dedicated desk contract, also a lockable cabinet. A monitor is provided on hot desks in Delta and on all desks at Räni Science Park coworking space.

A dedicated desk is a fixed workstation for every day. A hot desk means you take any available desk when you arrive. If you come in daily, a dedicated desk is more practical. If your schedule is irregular, a hot desk makes more sense.

In Delta, you can use the open work area, a large meeting room, two smaller meeting rooms, and two phone rooms (silent boxes). There’s also a shared kitchen and lounge area.

At Räni business campus, there’s also a lounge area, larger seminar rooms and smaller meeting rooms, as well as a shared kitchen.

Yes, free coffee and tea are available in the shared kitchen.

Yes, we organise community events that bring the SPARKUP community together and help build new connections.

Security deposit
When signing the contract, we ask for a security deposit equal to one month’s rent:

  • Hot Desk: 179,80 €
  • Dedicated desk: 266,60 €

Access cards
Each card costs €25. If the card is returned, we refund the amount. The fee for a card that is not returned is non-refundable.

We don’t offer parking spots in the city centre, but parking is free at Räni business campus.
