Could playing and making video games be more than just a hobby? How do you turn a first idea into a real game, a company, and eventually an international business?
We’re bringing together game developers, students, and people interested in entrepreneurship to talk about game development as a business and a career — honestly, practically, and without the usual success-story glamour.
We’ll hear 2–3 real stories from game entrepreneurs: how they got started, built a team, found funding, made mistakes, brought their games to market, and developed international connections. One part of the evening will also focus on the Gamescom experience, the world’s largest video game event — what is actually worth doing there and how to turn a game trade show into real business opportunities.
17.30 – Doors open and gathering. Snacks and soft drinks, getting to know one another, and informal conversation.
