Looking for your next entrepreneurial challenge? What if you could join a team that already has the scientific expertise and a promising technology, but needs someone like you to turn it into a successful business?
Join us for the DeepTech Co-founder Meetup, where six research and technology teams will pitch their ideas to meet experienced entrepreneurs and business professionals interested in becoming co-founders.
Great deeptech companies need more than groundbreaking technology. They need people who understand business development, strategy, sales, investment, and what it takes to bring a product to market.
If you have business experience, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ambition to build something of your own, this is an opportunity to discover your next venture without having to start with a scientific idea or technical team of your own.
The event will kick off with an introduction by Anu Puusaag (Head of DeepTech at Tehnopol), followed by pitches from six deeptech teams developing innovative technologies and looking for business co-founders. After the pitches, participants will have the opportunity to meet individually with the teams they are most interested in. You can select these one-to-one meetings in advance during event registration.
What to expect?
During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Hear pitches from six potential ventures. Hear directly from the teams about their technologies
- Meet your potential technical co-founders. Get to know the researchers and technology developers behind the ideas, ask questions, and explore opportunities to join their teams
- Find where your expertise fits. Learn what business skills the teams are looking for and where you could make a difference as a co-founder
Who should join?
This meetup is for experienced entrepreneurs, business developers, executives and commercially minded professionals who are interested in becoming co-founders of research-based startups.
You don’t need a scientific background or your own startup idea. What matters is your business expertise, entrepreneurial drive and willingness to build a successful company alongside a technical team.
Six teams. Six potential ventures. One of them could be your next business.
Register now and meet the teams looking for their future business co-founders!
