Baltic Sea Game Incubation

Project name and short description: Baltic Sea Game Incubation – Piloting Network Activities to Foster Game Incubation in the Baltic Sea Region (BSGI). As part of the project, participating incubators and other organizations will collaborate to enhance incubation services in the game development sector.

Objectives: The overall objective of the project is to support the development of an innovative and robust gaming industry in the Baltic Sea region. Project activities focus on fostering cross-border cooperation in the field of incubation and mentoring programs for game companies.

Activities: The project’s activities are broadly divided into three areas: exchange of experiences between partner regions and participating organizations, enhancement of game-related incubation capabilities in participating organizations, and the exchange of knowledge and experiences in this field. The aim of these activities is to standardize incubation services offered to game developers and to develop specialists in the sector (including incubator staff, mentors, and investors in the gaming industry).

Project duration: 2020 – 2022

Budget: The budget for Tartu Science Park to implement project activities is 79,007.5 euros, including a self-financing contribution of 11,851.13 euros.
