Project name and brief description: Baltic Explorers (project number: CB884) supports companies in the game development sector.
Objectives: To support the game developers’ cluster in the Central Baltic region (regions from Finland and Sweden, and all of Estonia and Latvia) through an accelerator and mentoring program. The primary focus is on helping companies enter the Asian and North American markets.
Activities: The project’s goal is to conduct an international accelerator program and support local game development cluster companies with mentors to accelerate their entry into the Asian and North American markets.
Project partners: The lead partner is XAMK (South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, located in Kotka, Finland). Other participants include the Latvian Technology Center, Dataspelbranschen from Sweden, and Lahti University of Applied Sciences from Finland.
