What is intellectual property and how to protect it?There are many types of intellectual property, and some countries recognise more than others. To get an overview, come and listen to the absolute masters in our region – Siim Kinnas and Margus Sarap.

Siim Kinnas is an intellectual property (IP) and technology transfer specialist with extensive experience in enterprise and R&D space. He focuses on the practical aspects of securing and profiting from the rights of companies’ developments as well as minimizing risks of infringing on others. His main areas of expertise are engineering, materials science, mechanics, chemistry and information technology.

Margus Sarap is European patent and trademark attorney, managing partner in the Patent Agency Sarap and Partners. He has worked in the sphere of intellectual property since 1993.
He has long-term experience in preparing and filing Estonian, European and international (PCT) patent and utility model applications.and representing clients in the European Patent Office.
